It takes place\u00a0 on the fourth Thursday of November mostly in America and Canada. This celebration often extends to the weekend where people meet and carve a turkey for dinner. Several other places around the world observe similar celebrations.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em><span style=\"color: #008000\"> Historically, Thanksgiving had roots in religious and cultural tradition.
